Thats a hell of a lot of food man.

I received a shipment of 12 1-1.25inch indo dats two weeks ago & have been feeding them frozen brine shrimp.

Well, there is one "non-dat" in the tank & I dropped some home made frozen food (whole shrimp, peas, carrot, & geletin) yesterday that I'd soaked in with the shrimp to thaw it out, and the dats just ripped into it!

They should be fattening up well with this stuff.

It won't take long.

Yeah it is...but I guess it comes with the territory when you're feeding 100 dats. :nilly:

I go through about a large flat pack of krill, two flat packs of bloodworms, about 1 pound of shrimp a week. I also feed some pellet which they sometimes take...but not much.

when you guys say you are feeding them shrimp are you referring to just normal frozen shrimp you by at the super marker? Should I be buying a certain kind?

how do you prepare them? Thaw in water? i would imagin removing the skin and cutting off the tail?

i thaw them out in water, remove the tail..and cut them up into bits
