Finally Upgraded to my 350G / update on my Festae

that male is really coming into his own. Im just glad that i could hook you up with him they do look paired to me, just waiting on the spawning now
so whos running the tank? i saw lil dovii, devil and GT anybody else in there? good job with the tank bud keep us updated.

LOL! I was wounder if/when someone would notice the Dovii. He is a cute little male I saw at an LFS and out of the 20 or so 4" He was the only one with some awesome blue/green finnage. I think his color isn't showing right now because he does not feel dominant but I'm not sure. The pecking order is the GT but hes not bad at all. The Festae pair comes second and takes the other side of the tank (but I expect the this will change once they spawn). The RDs are the "whipping boys" of the tank. And the Dovii goes where ever he feels comfortable at the time. He will come out around maybe 6 or 7 inches. Depending on when he starts getting aggressive. I have another tank in mind for him once he out grows his welcome in that one
I watch these guys at least 2 to 3 hours a day. Nothing will go unseen.DanG13;4455367; said:

10.5"-11" Male GT
7"-8" Festae Pair
6"-8" Red Devil Pair
4" Male Dovii
6"-9" Tinfoil barbs x6
7"-8" common Plecos x3
The 2 extra tins came from the 150 in the living room. Thats where I put that La Ceiba Yellow Head pair. The Festae did not get along with them at all.... it was like watching UFC 110 or something. It lasted all of about 60 sec and I said nope! got to separate them lol

lol.. thats awesome. i had a lil dovii in my community with festae pair and same thing with the color. it wasnt til i moved him to own tank when his colors came out. i had to move him at 6-7" thats when the he was big enough that the festae didnt like him anymore. but you have them in a larger tank. i believe you can keep them all together longer even with spawns. theyll work it out. and it may take the dovii till he reaches larger than 7" to start climbing ranks. but great job and hope all goes well for ya bud.
