SRT x Carpinis

I finally have eggs.

We shall see if I get fry out of them. I'm not getting my hopes up, but fingers crossed my SRT is fertile.

I was starting to worry there for a little. It's been over a month since I gave them their honeymoon sweet. 300 gallon tank all to themselves for breeding. Nice and clean with plenty of pots.

Yeah, I gave them a little bit of elbow room.
They definitely used it though. They dug out nests in all four
pots trying to figure out where to have a good spooning session.

The Carpintis is the female. She is my male SRT's test mate. If he turns out to be fertile, I will replace the female carpintis with a fertile female SRT.

If he turns out to be infertile i will get another male SRT and try it again. And keep doing so until I find a fertile male.

don't be all jumpy to think he is impossible of ferting eggs if this spawn don't got right. i have had male cichlids, hybrid and pures, that have taken up to 8 times before getting it right.
