i bought 4 kelberis at 2" size 2 weeks ago, I think i was really lucky cause they ate pellets day 2 :)

finally have 2 out of 3bass on pellet. starve them 12 days 1 more bass to go for me. No datnoids are eating pellet yet even after 12 days

Can i feed just pellets or do i need to feed other things to keep the diet balanced? i have a pbass and bichir

Pellets will work just fine. Now, it's always nice to switch up the diet once in awhile and toss something fun in for them, but the pellets are completely balanced. More so than any love or frozen you would feed them.

To everyone "starving" their fish. You don't need to do that by any means. Patience will do just fine. Feed live for 2 weeks, after that do two weeks of cutting the fish in half and tossing them in, then 2 weeks of mixing cut with frozen while weening them into frozen more than cut towards the end of that. After that do 2 weeks of frozen, and towards the end of the 2 weeks start dropping pellets in. The trick to this is to use their instincts against them. Promote too water feeding. Never feed enough to make them full, just content. Always feed so one gets less than the other. This will increase competitive feeding between your fish. This is essential as pbass are very competitive eaters. Make it so they eat off the top of the water by throwing the food in with some force to get them exited. This will help promote too water feeding so they slam the food and don't analyze what it is before hand. For any other questions feel free to pm me. I've had very good luck getting these guys on pellets
