!!FINALLY!!

FINALLY i got a lima shovel nose catfish from mikes killer fish cool store thay had some awsome fish there and some very rare ones but heres my new little monster




now in this pic you can see the tail of my senegal bichir and it has little red streks going throw the spines in its fin is this normal or could it be the pleco in the tank

nice lima!! you wouldn't be interested in a 10" fei feng would you?? if so pm me. Mikes is a great place. I wish i could get up there more often but I'm 80 miles away

looks like he already has a little size on him. All the ones I have were bought at 3 inches. Your's looks to be at least 5 or 6. Also dodge freak what type of knife is that in your avatar it looks amazing? You can see a pic of my largest lima yawning in the post labeled catfish bonanza. Good luck with your little guy.

mikes is about 50 miles from my house so i don't get to go down there often but so far its eaten some shrimp i was feeding to the bichir what do you guys get yours to eat, sorry im not good with pms so i have to ask here whats a fei feng is it a catfish

shrimp, krill, worms, cichlid pellets. Just try not to give feeders. It's easier to keep them happy and healthy without them. Tend to become fussy eaters when you feed feeders.

ok thanks i haven't feed it any feeders but it probly got a few at mikes but hes gold fish seem pretty clean

ocassionally I give all my catfish with the exception of my limas, feeders. After I quarantine them for 2 weeks first though. I just noticed that the limas turn out to be really finicky of other foods if you feed them feeders.

ok well its pretty fat right now it ate like 3 pieces of krill
it sher would be cool to see it eat a feeder thow

this is a fei feng it's an algea eating fish pretty rare at this size
