P. endlicheri endlicheri doesn't get to 3ft (such a size wasn't even recorded in the wild). realistically in aquariums they max out at about 20"-24", and that'll take a good number of years in general, and theres no guarantee that every single one will get this big, will depend a lot on the fish. growth slows drastically once they reach 16"-18".
