I feel for you man, I had someone do something similar to me but with a car...I was pissed lol. To bad your not closer to CO, I've got an empty 55 sitting in my basement I would part with for less than $30....

hitch hike...;)

Good luck buds :)
I was lucky, an got my hands on a 55, with two 250w ebo-jauger heaters for $50.00

..if you knew my area, that is AMAZING

I understand your pain, my old boss wanted to sell me his 150g with filters, decor and everything for $250 and my wife wouldnt let me!!!!!!!!!! I think Ill have a beer!

And the same thing just happened again!!!! :irked::irked::irked::irked:

Nearly free is nearly free. The pain you're onto atm is just the difference on the price. -_-

You're fighting the rest of the world trying to spin a "rediculously cheap" tank for a buck.

You'll hook it up eventually. In a couple months, I've seen a couple higher end stands/lights/tanks under $80 in the area and above 30 gallons go through the system. Unfortunately, I've got a local that does nothing but snatch free/cheap tanks off the local classifieds and relist them much higher. -_-

I know I'm the first to mention it, but..... Channel cat? You growing it for a snack? :grinno:

I used to live around the muddy Ohio... Having personally tied lines to trees to fish for them... They get larger than the average goldfish. ;)

The bad thing is that I put up the ad on a wanted 55 gallon aquarium for $30 or cheaper and he txted me sayign I can have his entire setup for $20!! It had everything but the stand and he never texted me back!! :irked: Im aware they get large, once he puts on jsut a bit more weight hes going to either the bass pro aquarium or my pond depending on wether I get my filter done in time.

It happens. Between people backing out and others just trying to setup a scam, it can take a while to sort through them. Let's not count out sheer stupidity either.

For example - I've got a clearly labeled non-running car for sale atm. "You will need to bring a flatbed or trailer" is in big red text. 4 out of 6 responses read as such - "Hi, I wanted to know if you think I could drive it home?" Sure, if the entire trip is steeply downhill.
