need some help, okay i have a heavy duty laguna pond 6 foot long by 4 fooot wide and 2 feet high i have read 3 diff amounts of gallons for my pond on the pond it says 290 then i looked online it said Laguna Heavy Duty plastic tub, black, 1291 L (341 US Gal.), 180 x 120 x 60 cm (71” x 47” x 24”)
Then another one says
Laguna Heavy Duty Preformed Pond, 180 x 120 x 60 cm (70 x 47 x 24 in), 946 L (250 US gallons)
confusing !!! ANyone know what the real amount of gallon the pond is?

If it's square/rectangular it's easy to calculate. What shape is it?

Most ponds aren't regular shapes. The pictures of laguna ponds, I'm assuming you have a square one, but the sides angle in. So, I'm inclined to go with the number on the pond. If the people manufacturing the pond don't know the volume they have bigger problems.:)

If it is a square footprint one, you'll need to measure the area at the top and the area of the bottom. Multiply the average of those two by the height. That gives you volume.
