Fine line Pleco....

Hi i have been looking up profiles for my first pleco and stock in my area has offered me a fine line pleco what does the "Fine line" part mean i cant find the meaning anywhere.......the profile says its a sailfin gibbiceps im confused
 
If that's what the profile said, probably a sailfin gibbiceps. I don't know what "fine line" means either.:confused:
 
2 of the pics are a L001 P. Jose. And I belive the third is a P gibbiceps. I would not buy from a place making up a name such as "Fine Line" pleco, or a place that is lumping different species under the same fictional name, or a place selling gibbys and gold spots for $49.99 on sale from $120 I paid 2.99 for mine @3.5". But I'm assuming down under they are more expensive.
 
+1 with sean. Most likely since the pics are of different species, those pics are just taken from other sources online and do not even represent the fish they are selling. These guys are way too common to buy from a sketchy source
 
I grabbed one anyway, and it is paypal protected. So I'm guessing if it's a sham I can get my money back eventually. LFS in my area are charging AUD$60 for "sailfin" at roughly 1" so ill see what turns up i guess..

Both the gibby's and the L001 are great fish. I have a 14" L001 and he is my favorite fish. They are closely related. So if you wind up with either of those its worth it IMO. Good luck and keep us posted on how this turns out
