Fine white sand for cichlids

I can make 150 lbs of the best looking substrate you've seen for less than $20 ;)

I agree. I use only pool filter sand in my tanks now. I don't think I would want sand any finer than that. All my cichlids love it but even pool filter sand can be a pain with fish stirring it up all the time which they do. Kind of fun to watch but a huge mess. My 120 show tank in the living room is always a mess with all the sand on 1 side of the tank. Everytime I do water changes I have to rearrange the sand.
