my 6 inch arrow jumps out of the water and bites me everytime i feed if im not paying attention. it's because i hand feed him because my pbass devour all the food before he gets it, so if i don't hand feed he doesn't eat, and well sometimes he gets impatient waiting and jumps out of the water to bite my hand.

Ha ha ha.....I used to have a 13 inch Texas/Flowerhorn cross and he was MEAN...He would let me pet his head when I would approach him with my hand in just the right way....Friends and people dropping by would see me pet him and think it was really neat and, in turn, they would like to try........Soooo of course I would say yeah go ahead he only bites stupid people.....and sure enough as soon as their hand would go in the tank WAM! my fish would attack them and usually draw a good amount of blood....They would freak out and ask, "Why did he do that?" and I would respond "Because you were stupid enough to reach your hand into a wild fish tank"
