Your gender has nothing to do with it if it was a guy in the photo I would have said the same and as far as degrading you I think that's a bit dramatic. I don't think I said anything about your intelligence but I will say you seem very immature the way you are handling constructive criticism. Also I don't think calling someone out for poor gun handling skills is preaching but something everyone should do. Maybe we would have fewer accidental gun deaths in this country giving the antis less to work with. But these are my opinions, do as you wish its a free country so far.

nice!!! what option did you guys take for the mag release? i know because im in cali and i built mine a while back too. i used the Bullet Button to get around PC 12276.1 :)

Same thing. Bullet Button in CA is the only way. Unless you have a welded mag, but then you have to take the Upper off to reload it.

I was under the impression that you could not own an "assault weapon" in the peoples republic of California. ?? The quotes are on the word because I think it is a retarded designation for any civilian fire arm. Don't get me started on the 2nd amendment!
yeah its very easy to build a cali-legal AR15. there have been thousands of them built since end of the FAWB in '04. the main restriction is that it cant have a detachable magazine and have the "evil features" of an "assault weapon". but nice little add-ons like the bullet button can make this happen :D

cool. yeah welded mag is crap! not sure if you guys are on calguns.net, but its a great place for california gun owners, especially those with evil black rifles :D not sure if youve seen mine, but i got a lot of extras on it too!

Good to know you guys have some options. I am more of an AR30 guy than an AR15, so don't know a lot about them. The way California is portrayed on my favorite gun site I was just about convinced they had rejoined the British Empire or ceded to Australia. Before you flame me.. I like both countries and have had some great times getting pissed at the pub with the Brits and Aussies. I just think they have some of the most cruel gun laws.

I love living in Florida. We are a very weapon friendly state and many manufactures are within 10 minutes drive.

Knights Armament is only 15 minute drive from my house. Check out their web site. They are the guys with the patent on the Rail Adapter System...

Kel-tech is 5 miles away and a few friends work there.

Nice AR, bummer you folks out there ave that stupid pinned mag law. Heck, I could probably unload 30rds and reload and shoot all 30 rounds again in less time takes you to load up another mag on that thing and AK mag changes are SSSLLLOOWW. That is my only beef with the AK platform is the mag changes.

You guys need to move out of that state and into a state like mine where EVERYTHING goes!

Nothing beats a 75rd drum on an AK pistol to piss off a libtard!

haha its not THAT bad :) and its not really a pinned mag either. the penal code states that the mag cannot be released w/o the use of a tool, other than your finger. the Bullet Button works as a regular mag drop, but requires a "tool" to go in the small hole and drop the mag. we normally use a pen or a bullet to push the button in and drop it.

so the mag is still dropped and can be swapped like any other AR. we dont have to break it open and load from the top. but the other restriction is the 10rd limit. but i still have a few 30rd i got as "rebuild kits". got them in my safe waiting for night of the living dead :naughty: gotta love the rebuild kit law. lets me purchase full 30rd mags with no legal implications
