my lfs has them and my juruense cat on hold they will call me when i can pick them up :headbang2i was just wondering how to feed them when ifirst get them and they have a strong current and amazon swords and bog wood to hide around like my cuda im going to try to get them on whole silversides and massivore pellet

What size are they? You probably want to start them on live if they are fresh imports to put some bulk on them before trying to convert them. Remember with all fish a variety in diet is key to keeping them alive a long time.

Start them on quarantined rosies, goldfish, and platys for about a month. Then start feed them one fish at a time until they start hitting them at the surface and at that point you should alternate between live and frozen till they are eating frozen. Remember to alternate between different foods or you will have a fish with deficiencies which will end up killing it later down the road.

This month is the best for payara, I need to call all of my LFS and make sure that only one of them has one right now because I really want a small and not the 12" one my LFS has.
