Cynodon is a genus in the Cynodontinae subfamily and so is Hydrolycus. So how is H. wallacei a Cynodon sp? Unless you meant in belongs to the Cynodontinae subfamily then I can see how you would call it a "Cyno" but then all saber tooth Characins could be called that including Rhaphiodon sp. And cudamaster H. wallacei was described in '99 along with H. tatauaia.apriliarider15;4312722; said:Huh?
