The picture is a Cynodon sp.
 
The Black Point Payara he is talking about has to be either a Cynodon,Raph,Or most unlikely an Armatus, But if it was an Armatus 59.00 would be a steal.

Tat's stay in the open alot and normally don't like to hide but when you first get it the Tat will feel more secure.

Huh?:confused: Cynodon is a genus in the Cynodontinae subfamily and so is Hydrolycus. So how is H. wallacei a Cynodon sp? Unless you meant in belongs to the Cynodontinae subfamily then I can see how you would call it a "Cyno" but then all saber tooth Characins could be called that including Rhaphiodon sp. And cudamaster H. wallacei was described in '99 along with H. tatauaia.

I meant it's in the Cyno subfamily yes.
