If it is fin rot, its hard to say. That is, I have no idea, but if the fins are gone in a sudo-even line all the way to the nubs, its probably fin rot. I've had fish have fin rot and others not in the same tank.
Fins on fish look like there being eaten off???

Well thanks for all the input,I will put some aquarium salt with the gar as they don't take well to meds as I understand it and just keep up on the tank maintenance as normal and just keep an eye on it. All the fish still have an appetite and act normal so I guess I'll just keep everyone posted. Thanks again
