yeah provide a bit more hiding spots and it would look a lot more interesting. What substrate are you using? Got any closer pics of the gator?

That type of cage would not be suitable for a varanid.

i think he was more talking about the dimensions and the overall cage design. obviously having a enclosure that is 75 pecent water wont do well for a sav! lol

With a litle more land area, bether isolation,bether ligthing and heating and a few logs I would be really cool for a mertens water monitor or another water loving species of monitor:D The way it is would also work well for a snaping turt:popcorn:

:D I was talking about the dimensions, but even then Its going to be bigger.

It will not be the same as this one just almost the same size.
 
yea im getting more pretty cool lighting all suspended from the ceiling and a good flat basking stone but the plants i wanted the gator will probably get torn up and knocked around so i dunno about that
