Hi!

Got a spare tank I need to fill, So I was browsing my fish shop and they have lots of new SH in stack. I would love to buy them all, but I have narrowed it down to a two.
They don't have any information on them so before I choose what to buy could any of you guys give me some information on adult size, water temps etc Cheers.

Here are the two I have narrowed my buy to. (I will go for a speicies only tank)

1. Ice Fire. (or Fire & Ice) - 9,800yen (about $98)

2 . Blu Moon Galaxy - 12,800yen (about $130)

Any info would be real helpful. Cheers!

Both are spectacular,so whatever you pick it can't be wrong :)
The fire&ice is pretty new to the hobby ,so im not sure the adult full size is known yet.If i remember right they are from the borderarea of Myanmar.

If you got the money and a tank for them, I say get them all. I know I would. It's just too bad that other species of snakeheads are just hard to find.

agree...and it would be nice to have both..:headbang2

I would love to have both, but I only have one tank spare (4 of my tanks are SH species only, 1 has oscar, Gars and Polys and another has oscars and Dats.)

I love the look of the Ice Fire, though lack of real information is swaying me away from them a little.

Jelly, may I ask how big your galaxies are? Do their colors last? If you have any pics could you post them, I would love to see what they look like in an established tank. Cheers.

Great stuff Thor. Did you choose to keep them at that temperature or have you read some information somewhere?
Have you tried keeping them in cooler water? May help with the aggression.

How are the colors of yours now they in a (assumed) established tank?
Have any photos?

Sorry for all the questions, Cheers.
