I have to agree with Lupin and Wet Whiskers. my fire eels will exhibit this behavior if they gorge, which I as well try to avoid. I also feed them 1x daily.. and let them go hungry for a few days every now and then. internal parasites are always a potential with these guys ime. precautionary worming him i don't think would be amiss. I worm my horses,dog,cats regularly and don't think it would likely cause any ill effects to worm a fish who may or may not have worms. I'de have concern if you have any snails,inverts in the tank. and I don't think but do not know for sure if the Prazipro would do damage to your plants. Thats where a QT would come in handy.
