My advice to you is make sure every hole is covered. These fish are smart and strong it almost blows me away.Never got my eel onto pellets but he ate any type of seafood/meat. If you have any fish that can remotely be close to fit in there mouth don't be surprised if they're eaten and it options to hide in pvc pipes and tubes are real good. They also grow really fast.
