dont let him fool you, the tank is really a pot... he is just fattening up the fish and spicing the water(broth). next he will start to feed them onions potatos sliced carrots. He will then tell the fish that it looks to chilly for them; not being worldly, as they have spent all their lives in doors; they will belive him. He will turn up the heater temp... slowly over a few days he will bring the water to a boil. The fish wont catch on until to late. Then after years of planning he will have done it.

If this guy is already eating pellet, my advice it to keep feeding pellet! My 28"+ fire eels get expensive to feed as they refuse everything but huge earthworms and market shrimp. I spend time stuff the shrimp with pellets to make sure they are actually getting all the necessary nutrients. If he eats other stuff too, then cool. Variety is good, but oh how I wish my eels would eat pellet.
