most fire eels won't eat live fish ti'll there big but tire tracks will try worms like blood worms thats all mine would eat but i've never heard of a 12'' worm didn't think they got nearly that big but if so just cut them into pieces and feed them at night if you are worryed about them most other fish won't steal there food so its the safest time to feed them to

I recently got this 18-incher, and he's in a community with sens, pollis, some cats (2 synos, a raphael), a GG, and dither silver dollars. I have not seen him eat yet - I'll try earthworms this weekend.
Few of his tankmates (left to right): LF senegal, palmas polli, featherfin cat, silver dollar, and the vampire eyes belong to a 16"ish ornate.
