Assuming you are doing 50% water changes, you are at the low end of a brackish tank (I'm calculating 1.7 ppt of salt.) The rate I'm getting is 1.3-1.4 tsp per gallon. If you are doing less than 50% changes, the rates are higher.

I had the same problem with mines. The bloodworms don't provide enough protein for rapid growth. What I did that worked great was thawing out my hikari frozen bloodworms with chopped up market shrimp. When the shrimp gets saturated with the smell of the bloodworms, they get tricked into eating the shrimp. After awhile, they'll eat the shrimp normally and grow alot faster. I've even gotten mines to eat massivor this way. Sadly, my tt eel beat the crap out of him & he died from an infection.
