Fire eel pricing

I’m not really looking to sell him right now, but I honestly don’t know where I’d start for a price. I have a 30”+ fire eel, and I’ve considered selling him and my rays to go a different direction..
what do you all think, ball park, would be a good starting point?

that is a very difficult question to answer with any accuracy due to many factors. For instance with teh fish being that large are you willing to ship it? if not you are now limited to your local area and as we are all well aware of is that pricing on fish vary tremendously based on teh region of the country you are in. Granted the person who will be your customer will most likely be a collector with deep pockets but it is also a very limited demographic. I personally would be interested if you were local and would have to see pics of the fish and then I would make a legitimate offer. then you have the option of either accepting or moving on with also the option of you coming to a agreement on teh final price. By the way I am sure it is a magnificent animal and I have always been a big fan of that species.
