Fire eel teeth?

Well I am new to spiny eels as I got my first 2 days ago. I would say they don't have teeth such as a gar would have, they may have some sort of "teeth" but I doubt it.
thanks oddball, the reason why i asked is because i know personally that the have a strong bite,but i didn't feel any teeth.
They're more sandpapery like a channel cat or something. Mine bites skin off my marble cat when he pisses him off, but he can't cause a deep injury.
yeah reminds me of a bass's mouth. mine never have done any major damage but they sure are good and stripping skin off eachother and ripping up worms.
