Hi,
Just thought I'd share this video of my new fire eel. He is only six inches long, but very hardy. The first night I had him I fed him blood worms through this "feeding tube" made from a 20 cc syringe and airline tubing and an air stone line. I just suck up the blood worms and my fire eel comes over to the tube and I inject the food into his mouth! I have been able to add brine shrimp into the mix gradually, and other things, and now, three weeks later, he will basically eat anything that comes down the tube....hope this maybe useful for those trying to get their spiny eels to eat or just keep tankmates from eating everything first......
If the video doesn't post, I will give it another try later....(kind of new at this)

If the video is yours you can embed it on here . click "go advance" then copy the embed link from youtube & paste in in reply , click the white button "switch editor mode" in the right hand corner so the reply box goes white then highlight the embed link then press the "youtube" button in right hand corner. Good idea to do a video a few people have asked how to feed there eel's without the other fish eating the lot before they get a chance .

Sounds like a good idea- worms at least once a day is annoying- and gets the other fish hooked on worms(haha) too- Im going to give it a try

very cool

Just trying to figure our what you did to make this. Are Airline tubing and air stone line the same thing? I have to get my eel eating other things and this might be the way to go.
