Fire eel update

He's roughly 26" or so. Hard to get a good measurement on him and my jardini. When ever I get the tape measure out it freaks out my jar. The tank is 24" tall and he sticks his head out of the tank for his nightcrawlers(with a couple inches of tail on the gravel).

Mike D might remember a bit better than I do, but I thought we measured the Jar at 20-21" when I picked him up.

BTW, the fire eel looks good.

Brutus has grown considerably since I got him from you !!!! He never misses a meal. I've never seen a fish freak out like he does when I pull out a tape measure. I mean he goes ape $#@! !!! ...Something about yellow he just doesn't like--however one of his tankmates is a leporinus and he doesn't bother him ...

The only problem I have with the fire eel is that he will not eat anything but nightcrawlers. That's what he was raised on so that is what I'll feed him.
