Hey,
on March 29th I've got a 23cm long Erythrotaenia.
But since then it did not accept any kind of food.
I tried every kind of frozen food including smelt, live feeder fish, tubifex and earth worms but it won't eat!
I am thinking about trying to put him into a brackish tank since that's what a fellow German fishkeeper recommended (hard water and brackish water).

Can try a little prazipro and see if it changes.

So you do think internal parasites might be the reason?
Yes. Usually all these eels are wild caught and can have Internal parasites. A little prazipro can help.

Try sera tremazol. I believe similar to prazipro.

Alright!
I'll pick it up tomorrow!

Last question would be if I should seperate the eel or leave it in the tank it is in right now.
Should be fine to leave in the tank. As long as it’s not getting outcompeted for food.

Hey,
Just checked out two stores and they do not sell Tremazol anymore since it's forbidden to sell it in stores.
Well.. damn.

So no chance to get hikari products or the similar ones here.

Sorry to hear. Not too sure about these kind of meds in Germany. I know meds in the US cause I’m from here. How about this below. It’s similar to what i suggested.
