Fire eel

My fire eel is about 10" now wondering if I could house it with a 6" silver aro. Woulndt be a problem right? Besides the eels moutn is somewhat small? Info please...

Sounds good. Their might be a competition for food issue. I would love to see pics! sounds prettier than a RTC aro combination.

shoud work fine make sure the eel gets food and the eel shouldn't eat the aro like a RTC would

Fire eel like to hide, so make sure you have a hiding place.
I have a 20" fire eel only eats night crawlers and feeders

Should be fine, i've heard of a 30'' fire eel doing fine with a 4'' fish...

aros that small are still pretty delicate, but since they inhabit totally different parts of the tank most of the time and fire eels aren't really aggressive usually, the fire eel shouldn't bother it. good luck. should be a nice combo.

fire eels generally dont eat other fish that they have grown up with. they are usually fine with fish that could fit in their tiny mouths.
