pi-eyed- what kinda catfish is that in your pic? what size tank? love your eel very nice!

The cat is a rtc/tsn. This tank is a 180g grow out ..

nice looking eel! Mine seemingly went on a 6 month hunger strike and stopped taking earthworms, krill, or anything else. However, he now takes fish fillets and prawns. Just be patient and he'll soon eat anything.

they just look so cool! anyone have info on their growth rates?

Mine all grew approx 1" per month the first 2yrs I owned them but hear they can and will grow that approx for the first 3 yrs. so 12" per year isn't unheard of.
