Very nice eel. How big is it and what size tank is it in?

I have two fire eels that are at about 6-7" long right now. They are currently residing in my 29gal tank while I am working on the 220gal tank in my garage. That will be their home as soon as I get it up and running. They are great little guys.

Thanks bad pic do to clarity of the tank. My tank is a 480 . It's prob about 30+". I have another probably 12". Enjoy !

Mine go crazy for frozen bloodworms and they eat a few red wigglers that I throw in at the same time.

What does a fire eel eat??

My old one used to eat market prawns / pieces of mussel / FD Krill, although he got out of the tank at just under 26"...

So if you get one, make sure all openings are closed...
