o no thay are at it again in a diffrent and quiter park of the tank and the darkest the eggs are on the wall at the back and both looking after them again .i tryed to take a picture of the babys in the sump they are still small and i need more light 4 the camera 1 stands out already they all about 10mm and 1 15mm look like jags small markings already .feeding well .....

that the first good picture ive seen of the cross nice markings cool fish thanks for that m8 is that a male...they should make a large fish
 
:devil:what's the temperment like on that one?,should be pretty aggressive i would think but you can never tell with crosses
 
both the parents dont mess about hold there ground and all that ,should be ok with like sized tank mates i would of thought.
 
the eggs hatched to day they done it in a safer place this time both gaurding got to be a few hundred its well cool..the last lot i left in there just vanished thay might have eaten them not sure if to syfon or to leave them to it this time they own 2x1 half of the tank at the mo i lost most of young syfoning them out to early to delicate last time ,2nd go was better day 4 of hatching but still lost sum.giving them brine shrimp and blood worm now to try and get size on them cant wait to see what they look like.........
 
heres the baby a bit bigger now u can just make them out not real colour yet but have black markings like the fire head all a bit different really about inch and a bit
