Firemouth aggressiveness?

generally speaking, peaceful..back when my 125 was SA cichlids, I had a fm along with a chocolate, a severum, blue acara, and a couple of geos, and never had issues. I've had them get picked on by most larger CA, but with SA I would say it should work in a 6' tank
 
this is all i have to deal with generally. excuse the pic quality 1. i have a crap camera and 2. its quite hard to catch them 'in action'

It all comes down to the fish and personality. My FM killed a larger salvini. There is sure way to say one type of cichlid is going to act the same as others of the same sp.
 
I have 1 male and 1 female firemouth that are in 180 gallon and I have others fish as well but these guys pick on everything including 8in Texas. Firemouths are really good with big groups. Mine has never killed anything but the male is more of a show off then anything!
 
OK. I get the idea. I was planning on a group of med Geos, a couple Severum, a couple angels, and maybe a pair of medium/small cichlids. I will rule out the Firemouths with this tank. Thanks folks

Depending on their personality, I think the severums would be beat up more than anything else.
