I'll do that then! This is the first time I've seen a maskaheros Argentea that would be an amazing center piece fish, I'll try and find one. Then get a group of meeki and the salvini is also gorgeous!

The Argentea is a moderate grower and others I've mentioned. Firemouths are slow to moderate growers. Good pellets and keeping nitrates below 10ppm, 5ppm would be better, and they'll grow out beautiful

Just a heads up...
At maturity, argentea (especially males) are loners, and prefer a non-community life sttle.
At just over 5¨a maturing male I had, started killing all orher cichlids in a 6 ft tank, until I removoved it to its own tank.
He killed a half dozen other cichlids, overnight.

Another time when I kept them, only a mated pair coxisted in a 6 ft tank once mature, no over cichlids were allowed to live.
Once they spawned, the male also killed the female

One of my favorite Central American cichlids, but require a large territory just to themselves.

Female left (more dark patterns) ,,,,,,male middle (less darkened areas) and very pointed dorsal and anal fines, steeper profile...pair, male forground.

It's all on individual fish. Had one that coexisted fine as the only "large" as there was no competition. His tank is 8ft
