the pictures i took of the babies are of them at around 2 months old... i did keep 4 of them until they were 9 months old and they kept the body shape of the firemouth and the markings of the convict... hope this answers your question...

They did it on their own... they were mixed in with 10 or so other random smaller fish... but i just pulled them out and into a 29 of their own... we shall see what happends
