? Firemouth or Convict ?

firemouth!I have my first firemouth,adult male and he is awesome!great color and aggressive but not a problem child.Great fish,I need to find him a female

I would go with FM, I have seen cons take over half a tank when breeding even though all the other fish were twice their size.

this is usually only in a 55! in a tank of 125 they shouldnt take up a half of that tank! 125!

yea you could have another oscar! you may also want to wait a couple months before getting the FM's ro cons! and let the O's grow! it doesnt take very long! about a year for 10in!

the hond, red points are very attractive fish, that stays realivly smal, 5 inches ish?!? and not nearly as aggressive as Cons.

i like both convicts and firemouths, hadn't seen many firemouth babies before noticed the other day that they had some light blue flecks around their fins is that normal, im thinkin of gettin convicts for my tank though

i have firemouth there great i bought 2 juv and 1 adult?big juv there all fine in a tank with sajicas and blue acaras. iam goin 2 get a convict for my new set up with 2 jack dempseys. you could go with sajicas there more colourful than convicts and quite easier to breed but i need a female sajica because i have 2 males so if any1 has one in the north west of england or will post it PM me. i would go for firemouth and sajicas
