i never get a good shot when i use the flash. but deffinatley a good piece of info on the t5 lighting.

I bought a brighter light for the tank, didn't go T5, can't quite afford that setup, I am a starving graduate student!
I did get some much better pictures, however I'm attempting to grind out this advanced statistics final. I will get some of the newer ones up tonight.

Alright, well school has finally slowed down, now to the pictures! I upgraded the lighting a little bit, not quite T5 unfortunately, but I also did a thorough cleaning of the glass, inside and out and I think I'm looking at some better pictures....
Is the one on the right a female? I didn't even see the male on the left displaying until i uploaded the pics!
Is the one below this sentence a female? I'm not sure if they're old enough to sex yet, but it cant hurt to ask.
These turned out much better, I'm still working on my lighting and personal skill. I love these fish though, I'm hoping, if the one is a female, to turn these into a breeding pair and get some nice fry out of them. I love the colors on the one that I already know is a male. They seemed to not enjoy the camera too much, as I've never seen them flare their gills so many times as I did when I was taking these pictures. Let me know what you all think!
