firemouth tankmates

I wouldn't go with the Frontosas, but the Severums would be fine. They max about 5"

i have mine in with my yellow lab, tiger barbs, and kribs. she has taken quite a liking to my yellow lab male, silly fish

i'll probably move her later on, so you say severums with them? if i want to breed them, should i keep a few pair alone fish to try and breed and then add later?

uaru do fine and so do blue acara. just make sure the uaru are larger. the acara is ok depending on the individual acaras temperament.

I had my firemouth with my front and they did good together!!!!
my FM grew to 7.5in!!!!!!!!!
I would mix green terrors,jack dempseys,oscars, and cichlids like that!!!!

That's amazing! Got any pics of those monster FMs? I think it's possible, but going with the whole "mixing Africans and CA/SA" thing...most people wouldn't agree. I've seen it work, but I do think that Sevs would be better than Fronts on appearance with color and keeping with theme. Seeing Africans with SA/CA also looks kind of strange to me too.
