Wow, I would think a chalceus would be too fast? guess not?

My Firemouth had no problems with mollies or swordtails. It had major issues with any other cichlid I housed it with though....

thanks guys! i may have a think about some sev's, seems like firemouths would be good, the LFS used to tell me that they'd do well in the tanks i like oscars, the cursed blood parrots, vejia's ect...... then i read they do well with live bearers so i thought great there the guys!!!!!!
Iv just done a water test on the new tank (100 gallon) half filled come down this morning, so will leave it half filled to cycle, but off to get the gravel today
