FIREWORKS!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Just be careful with them, had a 4th of July party at the house a bunch of years ago now where a mortar was improperly lit and it went off before the person lighting it could get back. It launched and ricocheted off his forehead took over 100 stitches to close him up, the only thing that saved his eyes is that he normally wore glasses. Of course he shouldn't have had his head over the mortar tube to begin with but s**t happens quick.

well i have done some realy stupid stuff in my days and i got burned almost every time... and i tend to learn from my mistakes. what i hape is when you light one ond it doesnt fire, then you come near it and it blows up... that happened to me a cople of times once with a 100 shot cake and i sure as hell wast going to let that one go, so i got my torch and srt the whole thing on fire, and that lit one of the inner fuses and that set them all off... it was a blast, i should wear one of those face shealds... or goggles like your buddy but its night time and i dont plan on looking into any one of the mortor charges...

Last summer I had a bond fire at my parents house. I supplied a keg of beer and brought about 500 bottle rockets. As the night went on my one friend, half drunk, chuckles to himself and throws a large handful of bottle rockets into the fire! You should have seen everyone duck for cover. Thank god no one was hurt. Remember kids, keep explosives away from drunks!

I'm gonna have to stand outside and have to try someone to go in and by me fireworks like a underage kid at the liqour store.. :irked:

If friends or relatives are leaving the state on vacation or something, I usually ask them if they can get me the good stuff somewhere. Some places down south don't even ask for I.D. In two weeks I'm going to N.C. so I'll try to get some stuff on the way back.:D
