First 2014 bichir pictures thread

I too really like that Tinkinso endi, has character. I wondered if we would every see the "living" substrate come back in your tank. I remember some crazy good shots of your tank back in the day

Hahaha I've been trying to push him to keep adding to his collection but he is stubborn! Plus he is married now and on a short one hehe heh sorry Joe!

Serious though he keeps saying he is almost done but he has already added like 4 since he started saying he was almost done, "just one more" lol

thanks. The living is forever gone. It was too much effort to keep that many bichirs. I still missed those guys.

What kind of filtration do you have? Just curious cuz I'm about to redo the filtration on my tank
two Eheim 2028 canisters, emp400, UV, Hydor inline heater, koralia 3, maxijet 1200.

Get some pothos if you dont already. It keeps my nitrates at 0ppm for 11 days. I have 16 bichirs in my 180. Bi monthly water changes help me enjoy the hobby so much more.
i was thinking about doing this but my acrylic tank has no openning for the plants. I would need to change my canisters to a sump to allow pothos plants.

the day I am done completing my collection will come soon. There is no way ill get 20+ bichirs unless I have a monster 360. :-) this hobby is too expensive. I need to go back to buying $5 angelfish.
