I just got my shipment from aquariumplants.com yesterday, it had been delayed because of weather. The plants were in great condition. I have only seen four noticeable snails, but I got rid of them, so we'll see if anymore show up. The lists of plants: Anubias, Java Fern, Java Moss, Crypt Walkeri, Cabomba, Wisteria, Anacharis, Micro Sword, and Moss Balls.

Not quite sure about fish though. I'd like to stay away from your regular tetras and danios, but I know I'm going to get a school of Cory Cats. Any suggestions would be welcome!

I do have one question. I'm guessing the stemmed plants will eventually grow roots. So, about how long do they take to grow a root system?

I actually had to redo the lighting when I got the hoods, so I am just using 4 100 watt fluorescent bulbs.

I forgot to mention that in the left back corner, it is really dark in the picture because of my filter, but I changed it so it gets more light now.

Haha I honestly have no idea. A school of catfish for sure, but other than that I haven't thought much about it. I've been focusing more on the plants!

catfish get big real fast with the exception of few what type of catfish are you contemplating

Well I have a catfish right now and I don't know what kind he is. I got him about a year ago at my lfs and they just had him labeled as a corydoras catfish. I should have probably asked specifically what kind he is, but I didn't. I'd like to get more like him, so he could have a school. I tried to take a picture of him, but it was really hard to. He kinda looks like a Sterba's cory but darker. He's probably a good 3". Here's the picture, it's kinda blurry and I could only get the back end.

I believe the picture you took is Synodontis Eupterus also commonly called featherfin catfish.
