yes and he seems to know WAY to much about other peoples threads and tanks seeing as he knows about a thread you posted eons ago so much so that he can recall almost a direct quote from it.... Also notice no comeback for tebow... The Lions took care of that for me.

LOL. Where did I ever say I was looking for or expected a filter that I never have to maintain? I have found that all my HOB's can go a month or two (or even longer) without cleaning and run perfect - parameters great (like I said before I keep up on water changes). To me that is lazy enough. If life throws me a curve ball and I can't find time to clean my HOB's (as it has before) then so be it. I know they will still do their job adequately (albeit not as well as if I cleaned them). Even the Aquaclear 110 that MFK'ers recomended so highly has been uncleaned for at least 3 weeks and works great (some MFK'ers that responded told me I had to clean it once a week or the sponge would float and dire flooding would occur). The basket isn't floating and the water is crystal clear and perfect. With some research I have been able to be lazier on my HOB filter maintanance habits. I found that by sticking a ATI Filter Max III prefilter on the Aquaclear 110 and by keeping with my gravel vac water changes, time between filter maintanance greatly increases. In fact I just looked at it now and the sponge and polyfil batting above it is still pretty much white...

). It doesn't mean you don't get anything done... How does that not fit into fishkeeping or anything else in life? (work smart not hard)... I don't know about you but if I can find an easier way to do something and reduce expenditure...I will. Instead of attempting to twist words to your basic understanding and be rude, you could have used your weath of knowledge that is "superior to anyone else's" and helped me make an informed decision. Instead you deided to be an @ss/troll and try to argue and pick a fight with me on MFK to make yourself feel superior - like you try do to everyone else.To the OP sorry about the thread jack. Bdereck67 is always being rude and looking for a fight... and he always thinks of himself as superior to all and right about everything... when most times he's just being an @ss and/or doesn't know what is really going on/being asked or told.
