Where did you find these I've been looking for an aro for ever!! And they are either to small or two expensive.

no silvers are not aggressive to fish that are not aros

Small arowana are best kept aloone to 5-6" and then with only few select tank mates until 10-11". Good chance the knife could kill the aro, if not the aro will be stressed by the fast moving barbs. The tank mates will not be a problem with a larger aro. A silver aro will eventually out grow a 265g tank. Bare minumum for a silver would be a tank with an 8'x30" footprint, with an 8'x3' being recomended.

The clown knife will have him for dinner at that size. However, arowanas are easy to grow very quickly. If you have a smaller tank, grow him out to about a foot then add him to your 265. Best of luck.
