First ATF

Finally got one. I was going to go FATF, but I haven't been able to find one. This VATF has been at the LFS for a while now, so it's nice and stable and eating non-live. In a 40 quarantine for now with an L240 vampire pleco. Same size tank it was in at the store.

Nice fish! Never had one.

Me, neither. Had an odoe, but it died when I had to move it. Been wanting one for a while. Hopefully it starts eating soon. Was eating tilapia and other food at the LFS.

Finally saw it eat. Not sure if the disappearing food was from the pleco. Apparently, it likes smaller pieces of food than I thought it would.

Figures that they get some forskahlii two weeks after I buy this vittatus.

How is he getting on? They grow quite quickly at this size. Eat really well too mine devours lancefish

Pretty well. Not the greatest eater, but eating mostly shrimp and tilapia cut up. Likes smaller pieces. What it doesn't eat, the vampire pleco does.

Nice fish. Eating non live food means that u have a good opportunity to successfully house that fish for a long time.
Get rid of that deco though. Keep the water clear to avoid knocking on the deco when swimming fast.

I need it for my pleco, but I should move it out. I was going to move the ATF, by now, but I haven't been able to yet.
