first attempt striping egg/fry from mouth brooder

for me is better to leave the eggs in the female mouth until like 18 or 20 days then strip the already fully developed free swimming fry. I stripped my females many times and for me that was a better option.

ive went through a few more batches of fry and i think i like stripping them at about the 3 week mark....they will brood for a whole month

Again guys, what type of fish are we talking about? Peacocks are like clock work. 18-21 days is perfect to strip. But some Mbuna are 14-18 days.
