first attempts at DSLR - Nikon D40, RD flowerhorn

sweet pics! i just bought my D40 not too long ago also, love it! when i take pics, i shoot in S mode and choose the shutter speed. i put an extra light on top of the tank so i can shoot with an ISO of 200 in order to get finer detail, i hate grainy pics. with lots of light you can control the shutter speed to get lighter or darker images w/o having to mess with your ISO and image quality

yea its a fun, beginner friendly camera.

i JUST figured out how to change the ISO settings... and thanks for the extra lighting tip, i think that will come in handy for aquatic photography.
