Don't rays require nearly pristine water conditions? Wouldn't that be a bit hard with a few oscars?

Well with all your stocking ideas your going to need excellent filteration and well above a 200 gallon tank. If you do water changes regularly and have good filteration I think it could be done.

That tank is going to be way over stocked. You will definitely have to watch for aggression problems with all those cichlids also.

I think with a 300 gallon you could do that with out any problems and have a ray, thats just my input, with a 240, you could go with a aro, oscar pair and a jd or two.
