First black arow ive seen with DE

It is speculated that dropeye is the direct result of head trauma. Usually jumping and hitting the glass or some top.
 
sum1 alrdy posted this and i still love it and DE has many reason but defintely not b.c of feeder and looking down and barebottom
 
hmm interesting. i love the way it looks though. especially the scales!
 
It looks like a silvers DE nothing major about it. IMO DE is in part caused by the fact that aros get there food from the top of the water in the wild if not above the water getting insects off branches so they need to stay looking up. and in the home aquarium they do not need to look up as often so the muscles and conective tissue that hold the eye in place goes soft and the eye drops.

Someone should test this hypothesis by having a tank that's on the ground, still feed it floating pellets only, this also ensures that the Aro will 'look up' when it sees someone. ??? RIght??
