First Cichla

Typically the black lateral marking from the a3 ocelet doesn't run all the way through the tail of a orino. Yours in fact runs all the way through the tail = not a orino.

Second bass isn't a kelberi due to the fact that I haven't seen a two bar kelberi.....ever. So it's most likely a two bar mono or hybrid.

Hey again, i can see what you mean with the black stripe running through to the end of the tail fin, and after googling images of Orinos i can see what you mean about others not doing this

It does look a lot like some of the pictures of juvie Monos though to me after viewing a lot of those.
Only difference is mine has a bit of gold around the 3 spots, where i don't see this on the mono pictures, so your hybrid theory seems plausible, even though it would be pretty strange considering my location, but like i said i really have no clue what to look for in Cichla so i'm not going to argue with you, i'll leave that to the more experienced bass keepers :D

We don't have any of those types of Cichla farms up here as far as i'm aware, or any type of fish really, where there's just a bunch of different Cichla living together in large ponds and so on, and since it's wholesale, it would be odd to have one of the few Cichla breeders intentionally cross the fish in this way
Cichla in general are very uncommon up here, so it would be odd to not have them structured and seperated, systematized and so on, but it's definetly not outside the realm of possibility!
