First Crayfish!

First and foremost, you have a female there. And I think it's a P. acutus. The areola doesn't look open enough to be a P. alleni. And the shell coloring and patterning doesn't look like the non-morph versions of a P. alleni, either. Additionally, the arms and blue inner arms more closely resemble what you'd see with a P. acutus (the blue inner arms are very common for that species).

I could be wrong, though. So, don't put a 100% faith in that answer lol

I caught a bunch over summer and it didn't take them long to start enjoying shrimp pellets. My paroon shark definetly does not like them. When I open the stand doors, they come running over to the sharks area to eat. One time I saw the shark pick one cray up and throw him to the side. He's always hitting the crays with his tail to get them out of his territory. It's actually quite entertaining to watch.
On a side note, the crayfish have never bothered eating any of my fish. They don't even attack the shark. I guess they feel real safe in my set up
